Privi is committed to bring positive and sustainable change in the lives of people living in the vicinity of our manufacturing facilities and administrative offices and strives to attain sustainable development of society by active engagement with the community and capability development of people. Privi attains this by providing direct benefits to the community making people self-reliant, focus on grass-root issues of community, empowerment, training, guidance, and facilitative support.
Privi, which has a philosophy of “Sustainable Development of Society”, has focused mainly in the areas of Education, Environment and Health & Hygiene at three locations – Head Office at Navi Mumbai and factories at Mahad, Maharashtra and Jhagadia, Gujarat. CSR initiatives in the areas of Education covered skill development programs for youth and women, E-learning facility at rural schools, refurbishing of Zilla Parishad schools, providing computer facilities and notebooks distribution for needy students. This has impacted the life of people in the vicinity surrounding the office & manufacturing facilities at large. Under the focus area of Environment – Tree plantations at the National Highway adjacent villages in Kusgaon, Temghar, Amshet, Zilla Parishad Schools, Nadgaon / Nagalwadi (Crematorium) marking a total of 500 plants resulted in arresting pollution at large.
Privi’s CSR initiatives have also contributed in the area of Health and Hygiene by providing clean and safe drinking water at schools and in some of the villages in Mahad and Jhagadia and also conducted an Eye camps at Sardarpura in Jhagadia which has benefited about 197 patients.
Education is fundamental to the growth of human beings. Education augments means of livelihood and quality of life. Our CSR initiatives in the area of education focuses on access to quality education, aid & incentives, quality learning aids and instruments, value building, encouraging continuous education for children from underprivileged families, vocational and livelihood guidance, empowerment through education.
